I tried it it's very heavy and makes the TV look like it's house wall abnormal , I could not wear it only a few min. It's cost was$3000. , if it was better I would have bought it.

I have Macular degeneration for a long while , had injections in my left eye for about 7 months it's stopped leaking but I go for tests , I was sent to a low vision eye doc. A year ago she helped with magnifiers , asked if I want to try this "TV buddy as it was called a man came out to my house hooked it up it's a bit bizarre , it's VERY heavy and I could not wear it for more then a few min. It makes a normal TV program fill the whole wall in size , it did make me a bit car sick like it makes an eye or nose on an actor be the size of a grapefruit , it costs $3000. I did not buy it , we would have if it just made a tv program look bigger but not so huge , it presses hard on your face too , very uncomfortable .

Wonder if it would help with cataracts

Does this also works for MMD?

Is there any treatment that you did or doctors recommend and it was even a little helpful?

I have a daughter diagnosed with bilateral optical neuropathy (she got an atrophy to the optical nerve) so she has low vision, is this something that the irisvision inspire may help with?

I need to get something like that with my low vision but all you've shown me is cartoons.

It didn't work out as I had hoped, so I returned them well within the specified 30 day return period. I NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND, and these things are around $3,000!!! They also NEVER CONTACTED ME ABOUT WORKING THINGS OUT. So, I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back, which I ultimately did. I will look to other options in the future, and I do not recommend anyone doing business with IrisVision. Pretty pathetic for a company to try to take advantage of the disabled.

Great video nice to see you back on coaches corner I do have a question regarding inspire. I’ve had the model for just over a year now and I’m just wondering will there be another update in the near future?

Appreciate the video. Have friend with Advanced Macular Degeneration. Wonder which would work best for that condition: Irisvision, or the IrisvionLive or Irisvision Inspire? Can't find any clarification on that anywhere it seems.

Such a great episode of The Coaches Corner! I love how positive and yet REAL you all are about your visual impairments. It's wonderful how we can all relate to so much of what it's like facing our individual battles and learning to overcome the many obstacles that most others have no clue about. I'm really enjoying my IrisVision Live goggles, and so very much appreciate having learned about them from Sam, and getting such great coaching from Myrna. I'm so thankful for you lovely people! As someone who has been legally blind my entire life, I can understand about how down you can get, and how lost you can feel. Does this work for AMD?

People with low vision don't want to look like robots walking down the street. The size and shape of that device is horrible. Please make something that looks like a TRADITIONAL glasses. Otherwise, no one will want to use it.

What a great and inspiring story! Betty is a wonderful example to us all to never give up. I'm glad she was able to secure these goggles, as they are very expensive; albeit not as expensive as many other brands! No excuse for them! Myrna, you definitely bring a lot of heart to your interview; really well done.

I would like to know if this device could work for my husband with Macular Dystrophy with Stargardt? He has lost most of his central vision and primarily uses his peripheral vision to see things.

Is this glucoma...is she fully blind?

My husband has a grade 2 meningioma in his left part of his brain that cause his loss of vision. I was looking for a treatment to gain back his vision. Then I saw this iris vision that gives me hope.. And I hope someday I can buy this device for my husband.

How does it help with macular degeneration though? If you can’t see in the center of your vision then won’t you still not be able to see the center of the screen? I realize it must work somehow but how is it doing it?
